Make a Donation and Help Animals in Need!

Thank you for considering making a donation to Humane America Animal Foundation. The Humane America Animal Foundation is dedicated to building a more compassionate world for both animals and people. With a vision of a more humane society, their mission is to create, implement, and promote innovative and effective programs that will bring about significant and measurable benefits for animals and humans alike.

Every dollar donated will go towards implementing vital programs that promote the welfare of animals, such as rescue and adoption services, spay/neuter clinics, Pet Food Pantries and educational campaigns that raise awareness about animal rights and animal cruelty prevention.

Humane America Animal Foundation works to improve the lives of animals, protect their rights, and promote their well-being. They believe that all creatures deserve love, care, and respect, and they strive to create a society that reflects this belief.

However, we cannot achieve our mission alone. We need your support to continue making a difference in the lives of both animals and people. By contributing to our fundraiser, you are directly funding initiatives that will have a lasting impact on countless lives.

Applications for grants far exceed the available funding, we need your help!

We desperately need your help. We have already received over 100 applications for our December 2023 round of grants and only have the funds available to make 13 grants.

Here are a few of the requests for grants...

Elderly man walking dog

"Presently, we are trying to keep up with emergency calls for pet food; specifically, from our Seniors with fixed incomes. These are long standing cases that require time, patience and community. So many of our seniors are food insecure and rent burdened; we are taking every call and trying to make it work."

"Owner support was the first program Animal SOS had. With the changes in the rescue world, we have refocused on our beginnings offering help to pet owners over 60, on permanent disability, or a veteran. For 2023, we are averaging helping 70 pets a month.  These funds could help us provide the much needed heartworm preventatives for our clients."

Stray cats trap, neuter, release programs.

"Feral cat support prevents thousands of kittens from being born on the streets through TNR (trap, neuter, release). Resources are used for traps, carriers, cat food, gas cards, flea medicine, vet bills, etc. Reducing the overall population through TNR means less kittens entering the shelters and rescue group. In addition, TNR will reduce fosters needed, less spay and neuter. Best of all, less cats and kittens dying and suffering on the streets. Up to 80% of kittens are born outside. Scooping them up year after year and taking them to a shelter, giving them away, or going to a rescue does not solve the problem. Getting them spayed and neutered is the proven method."

“No Animal Left Unfed Inc is an all volunteer animal welfare organization. Our mission is to help families within the State of Connecticut keep their pets with pet food distribution, medical sponsorship and community resources. We are a unique combination of animal welfare and human service with three community programs: Pet Pantry, Community TNR and Our Neighbors Fund.”

“McAlister Institute’s three residential substance use treatment programs often include serving individuals experiencing homelessness. With the homeless crisis in San Diego County, these numbers are growing. Understandably, most homeless dog owners refuse to accept the residential treatment they need if it results in them having to give up their dogs. As such, we have been allowing the dogs to accompany these clients during treatment.

Unfortunately, our public contracts for substance use services don't include funding for the care of the dogs. Our 90-year-old founder and CEO has been paying for their needs herself but cannot keep up with the ongoing demand. The grant funds would be used to purchase dog food and supplies (i.e. beds, grooming items, and toys). “
